Galp Energia is the best company in the world in the Oil & Gas sector on the ‘Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World’ list - Galp Energia was considered the 16th most sustainable company in the world by the Canadian Corporate Knights in its annual sustainability ranking: the Global 100 Most Sustainable Corporations in the World. It is the first company of the Oil & Gas sector in the ranking, alongside Statoil, in a total of 7 companies of the sector. Since 2013, the company has jumped 40 positions in the absolute ranking, having reached its best result ever this year.
Galp Energia included in CDP's The Climate 'A' List and Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI) - Galp Energia has been recognized as a global leader for its actions and strategies in response to climate change and has been awarded a position on The Climate ‘A’ List by CDP – Driving sustainable economies. The Company has also been included for the fourth consecutive year in the Iberian Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI), having achieved the highest possible score of 100 points.

Galp Energia notified of €9.2 m fine from the Portuguese Competition Authority concerning the LPG business - Galp Energia informs that it has been notified of a decision from the Portuguese Competition Authority for the payment of a fine concerning an alleged practice restrictive to competition as a result of restrictions to inbound sales by bottled gas (LPG) distributors, an activity included in its Refining & Marketing (R&M) business.
Declaration of Commerciality for the Iara area, in the pre-salt Santos basin - <p>Galp Energia, partner in the consortium for the development of Block BM-S-11, informs that Petroleo Brasileiro S.A. (Petrobras), the operator, has submitted the Declaration of Commerciality (DoC) for the oil and gas accumulations in the Iara and Entorno de Iara areas (Transfer of Rights area, 100% operated by Petrobras) to the Brazilian National Agency of Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels (ANP).</p> <p> </p>
Galp Energia and ENI entered into an agreement to explore hydrocarbon opportunities in frontier exploration offshore Portugal - Galp Energia announces that it has entered into a farm-down agreement with Eni, covering three offshore concession areas in Portugal according to which Eni acquires, on a promoted basis, a 70% interest and operatorship, while Galp Energia retains the remaining 30% interest.
