Where feasible, we seek opportunities to support circular practices and contribute positively to local ecosystems. This approach is grounded in transparency, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Our ambitions

Oversight and management of GHG emissions Galp is committed to ensuring robust governance of climate-related risks and opportunities, while measuring, managing, and reducing GHG emissions from its operations and the energy it supplies to customers.

Protect biodiversity We aim to protect biodiversity in all geographies where we operate. Our objective is to continue to protect biodiversity in our current operations and create a positive impact in new projects located in sensitive areas.

Effective water stewardship Galp is focused on understanding and conserving water resources.

Improve environmental efficiency and promote circularity Galp is focused on improving ecoefficiency performance, by optimising resources, effluents, emissions, and waste, through continuously improving its performance. We also aim to disseminate and increase circularity in our value chain.
