Renewables & Energy Management Innovation Center

The Renewables & Energy Management Innovation Center focuses on positioning Galp as a best-in-class renewable energy producer in Iberia and beyond. By incorporating the latest innovation, we optimize production and maximize safety, contribute to the best renewable integration in grids, markets as well in the environment. Integrated commodity management, new products and renewable electrification are furthermore being developed as an important part of the agenda.

Commercial Innovation Center’s  role is to support the Commercial Business Unit in identifying and testing new technologies & solutions before market deployment. Our contribution revolves around three main pillars: Convenience, Energy; Mobility.

We are actively involved in research and innovation in collaboration with Co-Labs that aim to develop new technologies and solutions.
 

The NET4CO2 CoLAB is a new network of R&D skills and new technologies, with the aim of creating new processes and products that significantly contribute to a sustainable CO2 circular economy.

 

 

The main goal of the HyLab is to enable the Portuguese swift implementation of green hydrogen production, storage, transport and utilization at competitive costs.

 

 

The BIOREF's CoLAB main objective is to enhance and transfer scientific knowledge, technologies and innovation in the development of biorefineries.
