ENH and Galp Energia sign cooperation agreement - The National Oil and Gas Company of Mozambique, Empresa Nacional de Hidrocarbonetos, EP (ENH), and Galp Energia signed a technical, operational and financial cooperation agreement with focus on their respective stakes in the Rovuma basin, offshore Mozambique.

Galp Energia sets up partnership for Sines’ CCGT development - Galp Energia has signed today an agreement with a subsidiary of International Power plc (IPR) for the development of the combined cycle gas turbine plant (CCGT) at Sines. Through this agreement Galp Energia hands over 50% of the company currently developing the CCGT project at Sines, which was formerly 100% owned by Galp Energia, to IPR. Subject to the approval of the relevant authorities, completion of the transaction is expected to occur by the end of 2010.

Well tests in Tupi NE confirm high productivity - The contractor group for BM-S-11 in ultra deep water of Santos Basin, including Galp Energia, Petrobras and BG Group, informs that the Drill Stem Test (DST) in the fourth well, informally known as Tupi NE, located in Tupi’s Evaluation Plan Area, was concluded and proved a very high productivity in the carbonate pre-salt reservoirs in this area.

Galp Energia signs an agreement for exploration and production in Uruguay - Galp Energia and its consortium partners Petrobras and YPF have signed today in Montevideo, an exploration and production agreement for the Uruguayan continental platform with Acap, the national oil company of Uruguay.

Galp Energia buys 15% of Ventinveste from Martifer Renewables - Galp Energia group has bought from Martifer Renewables, an affiliate company of Martifer SGPS, 50% of the Parque Eólico Penha da Gardunha, Lda., a company that currently holds 30% of the share capital of Ventinveste, S.A. (Ventinveste).
