Galp has already opened the application period for the Generation Galp programme, thus kicking off the 24th edition of one of the most consistent trainee programmes in Portugal. Held since 1998, Generation Galp has been a solid source of entry for new and qualified generations of employees into the company, with a retention rate of 70% of all participants.

For the first time, this programme will welcome not only students who are pursuing their master's degree in Universities, but also students from Polytechnic Institutes and Professional Schools. The academic profile of applications may differ according to the different opportunities available: Management/Economics; Marketing; Engineering; Analytics; HRM/Psychology; IT and Sales.

Once more, Generation Galp challenges young talents to start their professional careers at Galp, allowing them to join any business area in the Portuguese market, and now in Brazil and in Spain as well.

Galp, is at a crossroads, where sustainability and energy transition issues play a fundamental role in the present and future of our brand. To that end, the company aims to cultivate a diversity of profiles and, for that, we want this generation to remain who they want to be – unique and authentic.

Thus, this campaign seeks to address key issues and demystify preconceived ideas about Galp, more precisely about Personality, Causes, Academic Qualifications, Hybrid Work, Dress Code.

Generation Galp guarantees personal monitoring provided by senior mentors. The trainees selected each year also have a specific follow-up programme, coordinated by the People Department and with a duration of two years, in order to create solid bases for a unique career in one of the biggest national companies.

The application period runs until the end of February.
