Joint Venture for the natural gas liquefaction project in the pre-salt signs agreements for front end engineering development - Galp Energia and the other partners of the Joint Venture, that aims to build a Floating Liquefied Natural Gas (FLNG) unit to commercialize the natural gas produced in the pre-salt layers, have signed today the contracts with the successful bidders of the tender for the development of the Front End Engineering and Design (FEED) of the unit.

Drilling of fourth well confirms Tupi’s potential - The contractor group for BM-S-11 in ultra deep water of Santos Basin, including Petrobras, BG Group and Galp Energia, informs that it concluded the drilling in the fourth well informally known as Tupi NE, located in Tupi’s Evaluation Plan area.
Dividends payment - Under the terms of the law, shareholders are hereby notified that as deliberated today by Galp Energia, SGPS, S.A. board of directors, the first dividend relating to the financial year of 2009 will be payable as from October 22 2009.
First oil production starts at Tômbua-Lândana field in Angola - The contractor group of Block 14 in Angola, comprised by Chevron, Sonangol, Eni, Total and Galp Energia, announced today the beginning of production at the Tômbua-Lândana field.
Extended Well Test Resumed at Tupi - The Extended Well Test (EWT) on Tupi area was resumed on September 5. This area is part of block BM-S-11 located on the pre salt of Santos Basin.
