On 19 September 2016, Henderson Group plc notified Galp that on 16 September 2016, it increased its indirect holding of Galp’s share capital and corresponding voting rights to 19,465,726 with 2.34% voting rights, above the 2% threshold.
Henderson Group plc is the parent company of Henderson Global Investors Limited, which holds 2.05% of voting rights. Henderson Group plc is also the parent company of AlphaGen Capital Limited, Henderson Fund Management Ltd., Henderson Investment Management Limited and Henderson Global Investors (North America) Inc., which individually hold voting rights below 2%.
