Galp was once again included in Dow Jones Sustainability Indices

Galp was elected once again to be part of the group of the most sustainable companies, fulfilling the most rigorous criteria required to be included in the Dow Jones Sustainability Indices (DJSI) in 2016.

From a universe of 10 companies within the Oil & Gas Upstream & Integrated sector, Galp was one of the two companies selected to be part of the DJSI Europe. Galp also remained part of the restrict group of nine companies selected within the sector to be part of the DJSI World, out of the 79 competing for a place. The Company maintained its position with a 93% percentile ranking.

In the environmental dimension, Galp leads the world ranking for the first time, a result based on its high performance in the categories of "Climate Strategy" and "Eco-Operational Efficiency".

Galp continues for the sixth consecutive year to be part of the group of companies recognised for their sustainable practices, both in Europe and in the World.
