Qualifying holding of UBS Group AG

Update to the announcement released on September 30 2015

In accordance with articles 16 and 17 of the Portuguese Securities Code, Galp Energia hereby discloses the following information:
UBS Group AG notified Galp Energia that it disposed 8,601,921 shares over the counter on September 25 2015, and consequently its holding on Galp Energia’s share capital and corresponding voting rights decreased to below the 2% threshold.
As from that date, the total number of voting rights held directly and indirectly by UBS Group AG amounts to 8,855,766, corresponding to 1.07% of Galp Energia’s voting rights.
