Galp Life Saving Rules (GLSR) have been developed aiming to strengthen workplace safety by demanding the employees to adopt a set of fundamental principles in everyone’s daily routines.
The 9 GLSRs are aligned with industry standards and best practices and should be understood as mean of protecting the health and safety of the individual by significantly reducing the risk of injury associated with critical hazards and work activities.
By adopting this rules, based on the International Association of Oil & Gas Producers (IOGP) one’s, Galp intends to maximize alignment with the industry partners as they are recognized and enforced by peer companies.
GLSR do not replace any applicable regulatory requirements. The highest safety requirements are expected to be followed, provided that full compliance with applicable regulatory requirements is achieved.
