Galp reduces electricity commercial tariff by 6% from the 1st of December

• New tariffs take effect on the 1st of December, ahead of the usual January price updates • Galp electricity customers also benefit from fuel discounts, with average monthly savings of 22€

Starting on the 1st of December, Galp will reduce the commercial component of electricity tariffs by an average of 6%, anticipating a price adjustment that would typically only take effect in January. This initiative reinforces Galp's competitive positioning among major suppliers and enables families to start saving sooner.

In December, Galp customers will see their bill reduced by 15% compared to the beginning of the year.

Additionally, Galp customers can benefit from further discounts on both their energy bills and fuel through the multi-energy offer. With the current campaigns, these discounts can result in savings of 30 cents per litre on all fuel purchases, leading to average monthly savings of over 22€.

These 22€ savings are based on the average bill of a couple without children, holding an electricity and gas contract (3.45 kVA and 1st Tier), paying by direct debit, and with an estimated fuel consumption of 60 litres per month, considering the maximum discount of 30 cents per litre.
