The Company is one of only 25 companies to score the highest rank (A) for both climate and water, and the only one in the energy sector achieving this recognition for its actions to manage environmental risks, cut carbon emissions and enhance water stewardship. Furthermore, Galp is the only company in the energy sector that obtained the A rank on climate.
The 2017 A List is comprised of 156 global companies, and has been produced at the request of 827 investors with assets of over $100 trillion, with thousands of companies submitting annual environmental disclosures to CDP for independent assessment against its scoring methodology.
