Galp Energia included in CDP's The Climate 'A' List and Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI)

Galp Energia has been recognized as a global leader for its actions and strategies in response to climate change and has been awarded a position on The Climate ‘A’ List by CDP – Driving sustainable economies. The Company has also been included for the fourth consecutive year in the Iberian Climate Disclosure Leadership Index (CDLI), having achieved the highest possible score of 100 points.

Galp Energia is among 5% of the companies participating in CDP’s climate change program to be included in the Climate ‘A’ List, in recognition of its actions to reduce emissions and manage risks and opportunities associated with climate change. Galp Energia also maintains its status as Iberian leader for high quality disclosure, namely on carbon emissions.

CDP is an international non-profit organisation and is the largest and most comprehensive global system of dissemination of environmental information. CDP is supported by 822 institutional investors, representing over $95 trillion in assets under management. It envisages the mitigation of risks inherent to the use of energy and natural resources, and identifies opportunities associated with a more responsible approach to the environment.
