Corporate Environment, Quality and Safety Commission

Composition

The Corporate Environment, Quality and Safety Commission Board is composed of:

• Galp's Executive Director responsible for the Safety and Sustainability Department – Chairman;
• Head of the Safety and Sustainability Department – Secretary;
• The following are also members of the Corporate Environment, Quality and Safety Commission:
  • First Line Heads of the Organisational Units as appointed by the Chairman;
  • Responsible for the corporate areas of Sustainable Development, Quality and Optimisation of
    Processes, and Safety and Security;
  • Head of the corporate services which includes Occupational Medicine.

Powers and operation

The Corporate Environment, Quality and Safety Commission Board supports the Executive Committee in promoting the culture of sustainability and the applicable standards in terms of EQS, ensuring the application of the respective policies and objectives.

In 2020, the EQS Board held four meetings.
