Galp characterizes the supply chain in order to be more aware of our impacts and to direct the focus of our actions.

In 2020, Galp made a total of €543 m in purchases to 2,814 suppliers, of which 1,098 were tier-1 suppliers with >25k€ and 489 were critical suppliers.

  • Non-substitutable suppliers or similar
  •  A good or service suppliers whose supply or operating failure could affect Galp’s activities, in areas such as compliance, safety of personnel, assets or the environment
  • Suppliers executing services identified with Cybersecurity, GDPR or high HSE risk

Business segment purchases

Refining and Distribution (R&D) represents the highest percentage of purchases (66%), relative to Galp’s other business segments.
