Our suppliers

Galp characterizes the supply chain in order to be more aware of our impacts and to direct the focus of our actions.

In 2019, a total of €598 m of direct purchases were made, excluding raw materials and purchases related to non-operated projects, distributed by 3,041 suppliers, of which 1,122 were tier-1 suppliers with >25k€. Considering critical suppliers, Galp has 186 tier 1 suppliers and 39 non-tier 1 suppliers.

Business segment purchases

Refining and Distribution (R&D) represents the highest percentage of purchases (66%), relative to Galp’s other business segments.
