Sustainable development goals

To eradicate extreme poverty. To combat inequality and injustice. To contain climate change. These are Galp’s goals. Learn about the 17 global goals.

On September 25, 2015, at the United Nations Summit for sustainable development, 193 world leaders committed to 17 global goals to achieve three extraordinary objectives in the next 15 years.

The commitments already made at this summit, in the form of financial assistance and partnerships, have initiated the Agenda, which will run until 2030 with the involvement and commitment of Member States, business, civil society and non-governmental organisations.

Actions are being taken in many areas including renewable energies, climate change, health, innovation, gender equality and the environment.
