Open Innovation x Accounting & Tax - Copilot in Power BI PoC | Upcoming Energies

Led jointly by Open Innovation and Accounting & Tax, with support from the T2D Transformation Hub, this proof of concept evaluated Copilot inside Power BI as a practical productivity lever for analytics users. The focus was on day-to-day reporting behaviors: how users ask questions, interpret dashboards, validate metrics, and transform data into decisions.

Beyond “AI curiosity,” the PoC was structured to test concrete value drivers—faster insight generation, improved interpretability of complex reports, and reduced friction for non-expert users. Findings from the experiment will be used to clarify where AI copilots genuinely add value (and where they don’t), and what governance, training, and data-quality requirements must be in place for responsible scaling.
