As part of ongoing efforts to enhance process security, Galp Innovation, in collaboration with the Corporate Finance team, is testing new IBAN verification capabilities. This Proof of Concept (PoC) is designed to strengthen supplier data validation, ensuring that payments are processed accurately and securely while reducing the risk of exposure to fraudulent or manipulated payment information.

The pilot leverages advanced verification technologies to detect anomalies before transactions are executed, supporting the company’s broader strategy of embedding cutting-edge solutions in corporate functions. Results from this pilot will guide future deployments across financial processes, ensuring robust and scalable cybersecurity measures.
