Cities & Territories of the Future 2025 Awards (APDC)
At the 2025 edition of APDC’s “Cities & Territories of the Future” awards, Galp was distinguished in two areas tightly linked to the energy transition. In Mobility & Logistics, Galp won with a project focused on the massification of EV charging infrastructure, exploring ways to expand charging points at scale while minimizing urban disruption and ensuring efficient, sustainable growth.
In parallel, ID.Lab (Innovation and Decarbonization Laboratory by Galp) won in Sustainability, Circular Economy & Decarbonization, recognized for enabling advanced pilot capabilities to develop sustainable fuels, test alternative feedstocks and catalysts, and optimize industrial processes for lower-carbon performance.
Together, these awards highlight a consistent strategy: pairing infrastructure-scale transition (EV charging) with deep-tech industrial decarbonization (ID.Lab), reinforcing both customer-facing and production-side pathways to net-zero - while turning pilots and experimentation into deployable solutions.
