Galp awarded Rodocrosita block in Santos Basin

Galp informs that it was awarded the Rodocrosita block, adjacent to the Bacalhau development in block BM-S-8, pursuant to the 4^th cycle of the Permanent Offer under Production Sharing Agreement hosted today by the Brazilian National Petroleum, Natural Gas and Biofuels Agency (ANP).

The awarded consortium, composed by Equinor as operator with 70% and Galp with a 30% interest, won the bid by profit oil submission and secured future optionality to explore potential synergies with the Bacalhau project. The gross aggregate signature bonus for the blocks amounts to R$20.8 m (c.$4.1 m).
