Global Innovation Challenge 2025 with Católica Lisbon
Hosted by Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics, the Global Innovation Challenge is a project-based, international learning experience where Master’s students act as external consultants tackling real company challenges that demand innovation and a transformation mindset. In 2025, the program ran in Lisbon from 29 June to 11 July, bringing together multicultural teams and accelerating learning through hands-on delivery.
What makes the initiative particularly valuable for corporate partners is the combination of structured consulting methods and fresh, cross-market perspectives - students are drawn from an alliance of eight internationally accredited business schools, which creates a high-intensity environment for benchmarking how innovation programs operate across Europe and beyond. The program’s design pushes for tangible outputs: clear problem framing, solution concepts, and implementation-minded recommendations.
By engaging with this format, companies gain fast-cycle insights on topics such as startup engagement models, ecosystem mapping, go-to-market logic, and organizational enablers - while students gain practical exposure to how major organizations structure priorities, constraints, and decision-making under real-world complexity.
